Report of two cases

Abstract: Two patients underwent thoracotomy for resection of pulmonary or esophageal carcinoma. Postoperatively, epidural catheters were inserted for pain management. Complaints of severe injection pain over the abdomen or lower extremities were made during one administration of pain medication.
