Since the total forest coherence can be considered the sum of a vegetation and a ground contribution weighted by a canopy cover factor, there are three decorrelation phenomena that set in to determine the measured coherence: temporal decorrelation of vegetation and ground, and volume decorrelation in the vegetation layer.…”
