“…Various studies have been carried out to determine the impact behavior of these structures, which have changed with various interventions. Kara et al 16 investigated the impact behavior of fiber-reinforced composite pipes repaired using a composite patch. Glass fiber-reinforced composite pipes under different impact energies were subjected to impact testing and the damaged pipes were repaired with composite patches with different numbers of layers.…”

“…They found that the boron‐epoxy composite patches showed a positive life improvement for 7050 and 7085 aluminum in salt water. Kara and his coworkers studied the effect of layer numbers of fiber in composite patches on the repair of fiber‐reinforced composite pipe damaged by low velocity impact, and the results showed that the six‐layered patches repairing was suitable. Besides, the research of Bouiadjra et al further compared the repaired effect of composite patches and metallic patches on the damaged location of aircraft structures, and they revealed the repair effect of the composite patches was better than that of the metallic patches when there was no significant moisture absorption phenomenon.…”

“…Kara ve diğ. [19] yapmış oldukları tamir çalışmasında kompozit yamaların tabaka sayısının etkilerini araştırmışlar ve boru cidar kalınlığının önemli bir faktör olduğunu tespit etmişlerdir. Günümüz yapıştırma teknolojileri, hasara uğramış boruların minimum bir maliyetle onarılmasına imkân tanımaktadır.…”
