“…Mole fractions of CO increased to a maximum value as CO 2 decomposed to release oxidizer into the reactor (reactions 29 and 30 [5,14,16]). However, decrease in CO mole fractions further downstream the reactor is attributed to COS and CS 2 formation as well as possible recombination of CO to form CO 2 [35][36][37][38][39][40]. Both COS and CS 2 mole fractions increased monotonically until they reached a maximum value.…”

“…Komposisi dari kandungan H2S yang masih tinggi di dalam gas menjadikan sistem kompresi ini sedikit terganggu. H2S terjadi secara alami di banyak gas alam sumur, dan diproduksi dalam jumlah besar dalam desulfurisasi stok minyak bumi [3][4][5] .…”

“…It is also a common chemical component of many gaseous steams such as liquefied petroleum gas, off-gases from industrial catalytic hydrodesulfurization, and upgrading heavy petroleum and bitumen. Since H 2 S is a strongly corrosive gas causing major health hazards, H 2 S adsorption and recovery of elemental sulfur is very important from both an environmental and economic standpoint. Many metal oxides, such as Al 2 O 3 , , TiO 2 , Fe 2 O 3 , , V 2 O 5 , , Cr 2 O 3 , and others, have been tested as H 2 S sorbents based on both thermodynamic and kinetic criteria, and ZnO is found to be the most effective . To understand the desulfurization reactions, spectroscopic and kinetic studies have been conducted in tandem with theoretical studies. , In a recent study, Ge and co-workers have shown how vanadium cluster anions react with hydrogen sulfide to perform consecutive oxygen–sulfur exchange .…”
