“…To confirm the success of implementation, there's a requirement to do two things: plan adequately and be sensitive to those affected. Whereas evaluating the decision created, if the action doesn't work, one will give it longer time, modify it slightly, try another alternative, or begin over again [14,15].…”

“…The New General Self-Efficacy Scale (NGSE; Chen et al, 2001) was included to measure the nurses’ perception of their ability to complete the task successfully. Confidence and self-efficacy have been shown to have an effect on nurses’ clinical decision making (Choi & Kim, 2015; Hart, Spiva, & Mareno, 2014). The NGSE had good internal reliability, multiple testing using principal components analysis reported Cronbach’s alphas from .85 to .90 and test–retest reliability coefficients of .62-.86 (Chen et al, 2001).…”

Choi and Kim (2015) established the NGSE’s content validity by comparing its performance to a longer, existing self-efficacy tool; the NGSE outperformed the existing tool. They also compared individual’s performance on the NGSE to 10 different occupational self-efficacy scales, the correlations were positive and significant ( r = 0.15 to 0.43, p < .001) indicating general self-efficacy is related to occupational self-efficacy.…”
