Relation of Vitamin D Intake and Sun Exposure to Respiratory Conditions in Hispanics

Abstract: Background: Low vitamin D status could predispose individuals to higher risk of respiratory conditions.

Namun menurut penelitian oleh Alswailmi dkk (6) paparan matahari yang lama dapat memberikan efek buruk terhadap pengembangan gejala alergi pernafasan dikarenakan waktu di luar ruangan yang lebih tinggi dan durasi paparan matahari yang lama dapat terjadi peningkatan paparan aero-alergen serta kadar vitamin D pada individu dengan alergi sebanding dengan individu yang sehat.…”
