There is a common assumption among individuals that the complexity involved in developing novel systems utilizing Web technologies implies that Information Systems (IS) that are Web-based must possess fundamental and significant distinctions from conventional IS. This study raises skepticism regarding the veracity of this claim. The literature pertaining to academic research, manuals, and sales material frequently espouses optimistic claims regarding the capabilities of e-commerce and e-business technologies and applications, often grounded in the assumption of novelty associated with the Internet. The objective of the research is to establish a systematic classification system for information systems theory based on its efficacy in addressing four fundamental objectives: analysis, explanation, prescription, and prediction. This study utilized both experimental and descriptive qualitative methodologies. Subsequent to the analysis phase in the system development cycle of information technology, the design phase ensues. The results indicate that the evolution of an information technology system can be delineated by its phases of requirement specification, design planning, and execution. The manifestation of this phenomenon is observed through the development of a strategic blueprint, the production of a visual representation or draft, or the organization of multiple components into a functional entirety. In conclusion, it is imperative for information systems to give priority to both the user and the integration of the system.

Purpose: This study was done to identify public attitudes toward mental illness, and to use Q methodology to build understanding of the differences among these attitude types. Methods: Q Methodology was used to examine the public's attitude on mental illness. Thirty participants classified 33 selected Q-statements on a seven-point scale to create a normal distribution. The collected data were analyzed by using the PC QUANL program. Results: Four types of attitudes toward mental illness were identified. Type I was named 'Pursuing positive attention and patience regarding serious human rights'; type II, 'Demanding the abolishing of prejudice through various media', type III, 'Emphasizing social responsibility at a distance from mental illness', and type IV, 'Focusing on reversible treatment of the disease'. Conclusion: In this study, the general public has presented a nursing intervention strategy that can provide support that allows for a positive recognition of mental disorders in accordance with the characteristics of each type.

ObjectivesZZStigma resistance is an individual capacity to fight the stigma of mental illness and is an issue of ongoing research regarding the stigma. The aim of this study was to evaluate predictors of stigma resistance in patients with bipolar disorder.MethodsZZDemographic, clinical, and psychosocial data were collected from 102 bipolar patients in a university mental hospital. Stigma resistance was measured using a subscale of the Internalized Stigma of Mental Illness Scale. Patients completed self-reported questionnaires including items on self-esteem, hopelessness, social support, and social conflict.ResultsZZStigma resistance showed positive association with functioning, self-esteem, and social support, and showed negative association with depressive symptoms, hopelessness, and social conflict. In multivariate analysis, stigma resistance was predicted by sex, education, and self-esteem. Self-esteem was the strongest predictive factor of stigma resistance.ConclusionZZIn accordance with previous studies, self-esteem was a central role of predicting stigma resistance.
