Abstract:En la región de la Península de Yucatán, México, el chile dulce (Capsicum annuum L.) es un chile criollo no picoso parecido a un pimiento morrón chico que se utiliza para condimentar platillos regionales. Ya que en una misma planta es posible encontrar frutos en diferentes estados de maduración, se dificulta definir el momento adecuado de cosecha para la obtención de semilla alta calidad fisiológica.
