Rehabilitation of the Elderly Blind Person

Abstract: A pilot study is described which outlines a procedure for evaluating the interests and abilities of elderly blind persons. Its use for better counseling and rehabilitation is also described. The procedure emphasizes the development of the client's socialization skills, motivation, and self-esteem, and his usefulness to society.
