Russia’s national projects (science, culture, education) activate potential heritage
resources and are aimed at forming a single integrative knowledge platform, model libraries for
all ages. Today, teachers use the heritage fund of the pre-Soviet and Soviet periods, accumulated
in expeditions, private trips and hiking routes by scientists, researchers, photographers, art
historians, artists. The article proposes a new format of an educational project with foreign
students in the master’s programme. The pragmatic goal of the assignment is aimed at
constructing a thematic digital educational resource together with Chinese master’s students.
The synchronization method combines the experience of integrating national (Chinese) and
Russian search practices and the skill of the demonstration visualization of results.
