Reduktionen in flüssigem Ammoniak, XIV. Reduktion und Methylierung von 1‐Methyl‐naphthalin in flüssigem Ammoniak

Abstract: 1-Methyl-naphthalin wird entgegen friiheren Angaben durch Natrium in flilssigem Ammoniak i m nicht substituierten Kern angegriffen. Bei der Hydrolyse der metallorganischen Verbindung wird 1-MethyLA6-dihydronaphthalin erhalten; die durch Isomerisierung erhaltenen Kohlenwassentoffe mit der Doppelbindung in AS und A7 werden durch ihre IR-Spektren und durch BenzopersBuretitration als verschieden von dem A'-Kohlenwasserstoff erkannt.
