Abswucf -The jammer cross modulation transferred from a TX CDMA leakage by a common-emitter receiver circuit is analyzed wing the Volterra series and statistical theory. The u(wo-hnmp~ cross-modulation spectrum is explained based on the timedomain model of the reversdink CDMA signal. The derived closed-form expression for the cross modulation shows that it is affected by the circnit terminations in the CDMA signal baseband a d at the s u n and difference of the jammer and CDMA signal center freqnencies. The theory was nsed to optimize the ont-of-band sonrce impedance of a 2GHz Si BJT LNA to significantly reduce its distortion.
