Reducing Risks Associated With Negative-Pressure Wound Therapy: Strategies for Clinical Practice

Abstract: Negative-pressure wound therapy represents a relatively new strategy for wound management. Significant, life-threatening complications (bleeding, infection, and retained dressing material) have been associated with negative-pressure wound therapy.
