Conversely, FAT impairment in individuals with ASD has been associated with social interaction deficits [Lo et al, ] and difficulties with speech initiation and fluency [Chenausky, Kernbach, Norton, & Schlaug, ]. According to the elaboration on the five‐level model for social communication by Catani and Bambini [], the SLF III initiates informative actions, which are the first steps of social interaction.…”
