“…Cadmium (Cd) is an ubiquitous heavy metal contaminant, which poses serious threats to the biosphere due to its long biological half-life, non-biodegradability, water solubility, and high mobility ( Sarwar et al, 2010 ; Cirmi et al, 2021 ; Kumar et al, 2021 ).
