“…The Amazonian coast, sometimes called the Northern Brazilian Coast (Rosa Filho et al., 2018), represents 35% of the Brazilian littoral and has a highly peculiar hydrodynamic regime compared with other coastal areas in the world (Pereira et al., 2016; Souza‐Félix et al., 2020; Souza‐Filho et al., 2009).
