Reconfigurable wide band wearable multiple input multiple output antenna with hanging resonator

Abstract: This letter presents a two‐element textile‐based multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna with switchable dual wide band characteristics. The antenna is integrated with two switches enabled hanging resonators and a partial ground plane with funnel‐shaped DGS. It covers the spectra from 3.11 to 5.15 GHz in one and 4.81 to 7.39 GHz in another switching condition.
