Recognizing Hyperelliptic Graphs in Polynomial Time

Abstract: Based on analogies between algebraic curves and graphs, Baker and Norine introduced divisorial gonality, a graph parameter for multigraphs related to treewidth, multigraph algorithms and number theory.
