Recent Progress in Nanostructured Functional Materials and Their Applications II

Abstract: Microstructure of the materials is essential to design new functional materials, especially from atomic scale to micron order structures. Many attempts have been carried out to give nanostructures and such structures have been analyzed using cutting-edge methods both theoretically and experimentally. In this report, recent trends in research on functional materials related to the micro-structures in nano-meter scale are reviewed by mainly introducing the contents of the special issue published in Materials Tra… Show more

“…Mn doped GaAs, which possesses both semiconducting and magnetic characteristics, is a diluted magnetic semiconductor. [40] Different aspects of manganese-doped gallium arsenide, including magneto transport properties Xing et al, [41] structural, magnetic, and electronic properties, Yamamoto et al, [42] optical and magnetic properties, Alvarez-Quiceno et al, [43] and room-temperature ferromagnetism Tsai et al [44] are enormously studied. However, the magnetic susceptibility, magnetization, and Curie temperature of Mn-doped gallium arsenide, as well as the attention of spintronic devices and its application for ferromagnetism, have not been touched, assembled, structured, or presented as a review.…”
