“…In addition, polysulfone derived amphiphilic graft copolymers have been synthesized by click chemistry approach and used in the fabrication of hydrophilic membranes. The adsorbed amount of proteins was reduced with increasing fraction of amphiphilic graft copolymers in the membranes [25][26][27].…”

“…A plethora of synthetic methods for the preparation of sulfonated poly(ether ether sulfone) derivatives by different post‐polymerization sulfonation methods have been reported in the literature . However, the use of thiol‐ene chemistry in post‐polymerization functionalization reactions, which was recently introduced to the area of polymer synthesis by Hoyle and coworkers, has not been widely employed as a method for the preparation of sulfonated poly(ether ether sulfone) derivatives.…”

“…Furthermore, sulfonated aromatic poly(ether ether sulfone)s with aromatic nuclei and flexible ether linkages along the polymer backbone exhibit good thermal stability and facilitate polymer processing while maintaining excellent oxidative stability . The synthesis of a plethora of different sulfonated poly(ether ether sulfone) derivatives with different polymer backbones, chemical composition, pendant groups, end groups and topology have been reported in the literature . In addition, sulfonated poly(ether ether sulfone)s with pendant sulfonate groups facilitate hydrophilic−hydrohobic phase separation during membrane production to afford asymmetric membranes with excellent membrane properties .…”

“…Bisphenol A polysulfone (PSf) is a commercial polymer with excellent chemical and thermal stabilities, excellent strength and flexibility, and good film forming properties . Anion‐exchange quaternary ammonnium PSfs can be prepared in two steps: the chloromethylation of a starting PSf and a subsequent treatment of the chloromethylated product with a tertiary amine.…”
