Recent advances in flow injection analysis

Abstract: A dynamic development of methodologies of analytical flow injection measurements during four decades since their invention has reinforced the solid position of flow analysis in the arsenal of techniques and instrumentation of contemporary chemical analysis. With the number of published scientific papers exceeding 20,000, and advanced instrumentation available for environmental, food, and pharmaceutical analysis, flow analysis is well established as an extremely vital field of modern flow chemistry, which is de… Show more

“…Reproducibility can be seen in figure 4 it shows the repeating run with response. The unit gave a good reproducibility which agree with results for determination of adsorbed phenol on wheat husk 37 , proscopisfarcta berry 38 , for alkenes determination by merging zone technique 39 and alkenes determination by sequential technique 40 .…”

“…[1] A review on recent advances in flow injection analysis was recently given by Kolacinska and coworkers. [2] Operation of such a reactor setup can be used for optimization of polymer reactions that require in-depth product monitoring in order to push limits towards new products that would otherwise be inaccessible or uneconomical to synthesize by any other offline sampling method. [3,4] A different kind of automatization in polymer synthesis is demonstrated by automated parallel synthesizers (Chemspeed reactors).…”

“…In addition, sequential injection analysis allows a considerable reduction in the consumption of the sample and reagents. [14] Bearing in mind that ECL based advances are moving towards the development of portable, high-throughput and point-of-care testing systems, [8,15] disposable screen-printed electrodes coupled to a small-sized, non-conventional, FIA system appears as an attractive possibility.…”

“…In addition, sequential injection analysis allows a considerable reduction in the consumption of the sample and reagents. [14] Bearing in mind that ECL based advances are moving towards the development of portable, high-throughput and point-of-care testing systems, [8,15] disposable screen-printed electrodes coupled to a small-sized, non-conventional, FIA system appears as an attractive possibility. For that purpose, in this work, screen-printed electrodes integrated in one channel flow-cell (TLFCL, Thin layer flow-cell) were used as the electrode surface. In these electrodes a transparent slide, that usefully allows the detection of air bubbles inside the cell, is attached over the screen-printed electrodes platform delimiting a flow channel.…”
