Réalisation d’un laser à modes bloqués en phase et application à la mesure des temps de relaxation orientationnelle de molécules nématogènes en phase isotrope

Abstract

The realisation of a mode locked laser generating light pulses of < 10 ps duration and of about 3 mJ energy makes possible the measure of the thermal variations of orientational relaxation times of Nematel 105 in isotropic phase. The experimental results are compared with the pre visions of the macroscopic theroy of De Gennes and of a microscopic calculation.
