At present, frequency (1) and phase are the most basic parameters in the measurement of electrical signal characteristics. A design of frequency and phase measurement system was proposed in this paper by using field-programmable gate array (2) (FPGA) and micro control unit (MCU).Our system consists of three modules: 1.Signal conditioning circuit module which is composed of wide-band channel amplifier and high-speed comparator; 2.Parameter measurement module; 3.Data display and control module. In addition, we implemented FPGA and MCU to realize duplex transmission of data through SPI communication interface.Our system designed in this paper can be used in a low and a medium speed measurement occasions. Based on the simulation result, a reasonable accuracy (3) was approached in our system.
