“…It can be noted that the geometrical parameters of the singlet structure are comparable to those obtained experimentally for substituted benzene ring species. 15 The Z For the most electron rich Ni d 10 metal corresponding to 21-TNE complexes, the full geometry optimizations showed partial decoordination of the benzene ring (Fig. 6).…”

“…In addition to the benzene sandwich complexes, those of cyclopentadienyl were widely explored, wherein Fischer and Hafner were the first to report a synthesis for chromocene, 7 whose structure was verified by X-ray diffraction several years thereafter. 8 Moreover, the paramagnetic vanadocene has been highlighted by Miiller et al 9 Nevertheless, combining both ligands in a sandwich manner is scarcely investigated and few examples are experimentally known, particularly those of iron complexes serving as electron reservoirs with high redox potential 10,11 and some substituted ruthenium [12][13][14] and cobalt 15 metal complexes. However, the complexes of early metals, except the vanadium complexes, are not explored; 16 therefore, in this study, we intend to counter this deficiency.…”
