“…Analysis of some HSNO-relevant reactions revealed that HSNO has sulfane sulfur character and performs trans -nitrosation, similar to other RSNO compounds [ 22 ]. This preliminary information on the dual reactivity of HSNO enabled the development of a fluorescent probe (TAP-1) for HSNO detection [ 23 ].
