Rapid syndromic PCR testing in patients with respiratory tract infections reduces time to results and improves microbial yield

Abstract: Lack of rapid and comprehensive microbiological diagnosis in patients with community acquired pneumonia (CAP) hampers appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
