“…In some previous reports, it was pointed out that CdSe multipods with a high yield was difficult to obtain because the energy difference between the zinc blende and wurtzite structures is too small to facilitate controllable tetrapod-shaped nanocrystal synthesis [16]. Researchers have also proposed that various shapes and structures of nanocrystals could be controlled by the type of caping agents added [21,29]. But our results revealed that the Cd sources have a good selectivity to the formation of multi-foots rods.…”
