Rapid Ornithine Decarboxylase Test for the Identification of Enterobacteriaceae

Abstract: Conventional methods for detecting ornithine decarboxylase activity require an extended period of incubation. However, with a few simple modifications, accurate results were obtained within a few hours rather than several days.
