Rapid microwave fabrication of red-carbon quantum dots as fluorescent on–off–on probes for the sequential determination of Fe(iii) ion and ascorbic acid in authentic samples

Abstract

Fluorescent R-CQDs with an ultrahigh fluorescence QY of 45% were rapidly synthesized by one-step microwave-assisted hydrothermal approach and were used as fluorescent om-off-on probes for the sequential determination of Fe(iii) ion and ascorbic acid.
