“…Shilajit, which is known by different names such as salajeet, mumie, mumijo, mummiyo, and moomiyo, is a phytomineral diffusion found in sedimentary rocks and appears blackish-brown colored semi-solid matter with a sharp odor and pungent tang, formed due to the extended humification process of many plants ( Agarwal et al, 2007 , Carrasco-Gallardo et al, 2012a , Carrasco-Gallardo et al, 2012b ).
