New energy composite is an advanced material that can replace the traditional single metal material, especially the newly developed or developed material with superior performance. At present, the material is widely used in automobile manufacturing and other fields, but there is a lack of development and application of the material in the field of sports. To solve these problems, this paper puts forward the application of new energy composites in sports facilities and fitness equipment. In this paper, the testing methods of new energy materials, including thermoelectric testing method and energy absorption testing method, can quantitatively evaluate the properties of a kind of new energy composites and point out the direction for the development of materials with high thermoelectric properties and high-energy absorption and consumption properties. Then, through the preparation experiment of new energy materials, this paper studies the preparation process and self-shrinkage test of carbon nanomaterials. Finally, it is proposed to use carbon nanomaterials in the sensor design of health monitoring data acquisition system. The experimental results show that when the water ash ratio is low, the self-shrinkage value of carbon nanomaterial slurry is 74.68% lower than that under the original conditions. In the experimental study of omnidirectional monitoring characteristics, through the repeated tensile tests of rectangular sensor and omnidirectional sensor at different temperatures, it is found that the sensitivity coefficient of the sensor made of carbon nanomaterial is between 55.8 and 60.4, and the maximum fluctuation is only 5. This fully proves that the carbon nanotube omnidirectional sensor has omnidirectional detection ability.

Boccia is one of the fastest-growing Paralympic sports and one of the few sports to have an Olympic rival. The BC3 boccia class is intended for athletes with locomotor dysfunction so severe in all four extremities that they require assistance from assistants and aids in the form of ramps and helmets equipped with pointer sticks. Therefore, the design of the BC3 boccia stick helmet was carried out to meet the needs of the athletes. The design was carried out by action research methodology with the concept of design, static simulation, manufacturing, and the house of quality. The design is divided into three main parts: the helmet bracket, shaft, and lock with bearings using M4 and M8 bolts. Static and design simulations used Fusion 360 and Ansys 2021 R2 software to determine design strength value. Stainless steel material is used in the design, considering the material selection using the Ashby diagram method. The maximum displacement value produced by design is 0.006 mm, and the minimum safety factor is 9.15. The manufacturing results produced helmet products with adequate accuracy and safety standards. A house of quality (HOQ) of 39% indicates that it can meet consumer needs better than other products.

The increasing urban densities go parallel with the rising demand for urban green and open spaces. As one of the environmental parks, Taman Bendi in Jakarta has its green open space, which is currently provided with inadequate supporting facilities and, therefore, rarely used. This study proposes a landscape design for Bendi Park that provides public space for sports and play-related activities for the Kebayoran Lama District and its surroundings. This study uses both qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection was carried out by conducting an online survey to study relevant community preferences, public needs, and site observation. The outputs of this research are presented in the forms of the site plan, landscape plan, elevation, section, and three-dimensional drawings. To increase public use, this study proposes that the quality of Bendi Park’s design can be obtained metaphorically by adopting the shape of bendi (horse-carriage). Regarding facilities provision, this design should be completed with playing areas, seats, jogging paths, sports facilities, signboards, directions, pedestrian bridges, animal-inviting vegetation, and vegetative barriers. Taman Bendi sebagai salah satu taman lingkungan di Jakarta memiliki ruang terbuka hijau yang saat ini kondisinya belum optimal dari segi fasilitas dan penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat desain lanskap Taman Bendi untuk fasilitas area olahraga dan bermain di daerah Kecamatan Kebayoran Lama dan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui kuesioner daring untuk dengan memperoleh data preferensi dan kebutuhan masyarakat dan metode kuantitatif dengan pengukuran dimensi elemen lanskap di tapak. Luaran dari penelitian ini berupa gambar site plan, planting plan, potongan, dan gambar tiga dimensi. Dalam rangka meningkatkan pemanfaatan publik, penelitian ini mengajukan bahwa kualitas desain dari Taman Bendi dapat diusahakan secara metafora dengan mengadopsi bentukan kereta kuda atau bendi. Selain itu ditambahkan fasilitas area bermain, tempat duduk, jalur joging, fasilitas olahraga, papan nama, penunjuk arah, jembatan penyeberangan, vegetasi pengundang satwa dan vegetasi pembatas.
