The test has been applied to the diagnosis of trichinosis and is sensitive and specific enough for routine use (10,(20)(21)(22) showed that the specific antibody in the sera of patients of trichinosis could be detected by ELISA. Apart from the T. spiralis antibody , they tested also the reactivity of the sera from five persons infected with some species of filariae by the ELISA.…”
