Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis ofCampylobacter jejuniandCampylobacter coliin Fresh Blue Crab (Callinectes sapidus) Meat

Abstract: 32 JOURNAL OF AQUATIC FOOD PRODUCT TECHNOLOGYcoli counts ranged from <0.3 to 0.77 MPNIg. Cutnpylobacter jejuni was isolated from 36 (15%) samples and Camnpglobacter coli was isolated from 14 (5.8%). There was no statistical correlation between general microbial quality, plant size or inspection score (sanitation) and the presence of Canipylobacrer species.
