“…Taking all the above into account, as the main focus of this study, the extensive analysis (the interaction energies of approximately 8000 systems have been calculated) of potential energy surfaces (PES) of model pyrrole-pyrrole dimers was chosen. The pyrrole molecule as the study object was selected due to its specific electronic properties and the presence of a pyrrole ring in a variety of biological systems [30,31]. A pyrrole molecule (unlike pyridine one) possesses its nitrogen atom connected to a hydrogen atom and relative to benzene with six p-electrons in its carbon framework, it possesses six p-electrons distributed over five atoms.…”

“…potency and selectivity) of the compound that can be achieved by either structural modification onto a naturally-occurring one (semi-synthesis), or the other from a total synthesis (Koehn and Carter, 2005). Apart from the antimicrobial activity investigated in this research, it has been mentioned that any compound with pyrrole moiety has been known to show other biological activities such as anti-viral, anti-malarial, anti-convulsant, anti-hypertensive, anti-psychotic, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities, thus creating the notion that seeking other therapeutic, as well as agricultural, applications of the new compound is another interesting aspect to pursue (Bhardwaj et al, 2015).…”

“…Pyrrole derivatives have potent biological activities such as antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antitumor agents [1,2]. The different applications of the pyrrole compounds have attracted to study the spectroscopic and vibrational studies of its derivatives.…”
