Abstract:The effect of splenectomy on pulmonary function test (PFT) and pulmonary hypertension (PH) in thalassemia remains unclear. We aimed to investigate PFT and their association with PH in patients with hemoglobin E/β-thalassemia stratified by their splenic status.
