Pulmonary Effects of Prolonged Sympathetic Stimulation

Abstract: Previous clinical studies (1-3) have shown that the sympathetics play a major role in the development of acute pulmonary injury associated with mechanical CNS damage, surgical trauma, and severe nonspecific stress.
