Psychotherapy Process and Outcome Research

Abstract: Psychotherapy process and outcome research is defined as the scientific investigation of psychotherapy as a treatment for mental and behavioral health problems. This area of research examines both the effectiveness of psychotherapy as a treatment (outcome research) and the means by which psychotherapy produces its effects (process research).
