A B S T R A C THealth literacy is a person's ability to search for relevant sources regarding health, understand the information, and use it adequately to improve their behaviour in order to support their own health. The goal of this article is to analyze academic publications which are focused on the assessment of the health literacy of children and adolescents. We used the method of content analysis. The sources were searched for in the databases EBSCO, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science and Willey between April and May 2018. Based on the analysis of the sources, it is possible to say that most of the studies were carried out outside of Europe. Aside from one qualitative and one quantitative-qualitative study, all studies were quantitative. They mostly use the standardized assessment scales TOFHLA, REALM-Teens and NVS. The respondents were children and adolescents. Some studies were focused on children and adolescents with specific needs or social problems. S O U H R NZdravotní gramotnost je schopnost člověka vyhledat relevantní zdroje týkající se zdraví, tyto informace pochopit a adekvátně využít ke zlepšení chování zaměřeného na podporu svého zdraví. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je analyzovat odborné publikace zaměřené na hodnocení zdravotní gramotnosti u dětí školního věku a adolescentů. Pro zpracování předložené studie byla využita metoda obsahové analýzy dokumentů. Zdroje byly vyhledávány v databázích EBSCO, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science a Willey v období dubna a května roku 2018. Na základě analýzy nalezených zdrojů je možno konstatovat, že převážná většina nalezených výzkumných prací byla realizována mimo Evropu. S výjimkou jedné kvalitativní a jedné kvalitativně-kvantitativní studie byly všechny ostatní kvantitativní, kdy byly k hodnocení zdravotní gramotnosti ve většině případů využity standardizované hodnoticí škály, nejčastěji TOFHLA, REALM-Teens a NVS. Respondenti byli ve školním a adolescentním věku. Některé studie byly zaměřené na obecnou populaci dětí a adolescentů, jiné směřovaly k dětem a adolescentům se specifickými zdravotními či sociálními problémy. Competency of Health Information Acquisition and Intention for Active Health Behaviour in Children

Objective: To investigate the association between competency of health information acquisition, both online and offline, and the intention for active health behaviour in children. Methods:This study was a population-based cross-sectional health survey utilising a two-stage random cluster sampling design conducted in a major city. Competency of health information acquisition was assessed by a rating scale designed specifically for this study. The intention for active health behaviour was measured by a vignettebased question. Data were analysed using multiple logistic regression modelling techniques with adjustment to the cluster sampling effect and potential confounding factors. Results:After adjusting for potential confounding factors and the cluster sampling effect, intention for active health behaviour was significantly associated with competency of health information acquisition both online (OR=1.06, 95%C.I.=1.01-1.12) and offline (OR=1.08, 95%C.I.=1.02-1.18). Conclusions:Results suggested a positive relationship between competency of health information acquisition, both online and offline, and the intention for active health behaviour which have important public health implications on child health behaviour.
