Psychological state in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention and their spouses

Abstract: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and the coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (CABG) are well accepted treatments for coronary artery disease. Many patients and their spouses experience increased level of stress, anxiety and depression before and after going under the procedure.
