Protein synthesis in neurons and satellite glial cells of rats after global cerebral ischemia caused by cardiac arrest

Abstract: Protein synthesis rates are increased in light and dark neurons and satellite glia cells in various brain areas in rats with completely restituted neurological status after cardiac arrest. However, the increase is provided by different cell types.
