The formation of PEO coatings is possible on almost all cast and wrought magnesium alloys [ 12 , 13 ], with the result of dense coating structures and good corrosion resistance. These methods, despite very performing, are costly and hardly applicable on the wide scale required at industry and commercial levels, where powder or spray coating are widely employed.…”
