Abstract:Velvet antler polypeptide (VAP) is the active compounds of velvet antler, an animal derived traditional Chinese medicine. In this work, the myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury (MIRI) model was established to investigate the protective mechanism of VAP on MIRI in rats.
