Although acid output was reduced by high doses (50 to 100 mg), protection against ulcer formation was also apparent at doses that caused little reduction (Andersson et al, 1971) or an increase in acid output (Aarsen, 1973). Stomach content was reduced to a similar extent by doses of 12.5 to 50 mg and to a greater extent by higher doses.…”
