Prospects of Applying MWD Technology for Quality Management of Drilling and Blasting Operations at Mining Enterprises

Abstract: This paper presents a review of measurement while drilling (MWD) technology as applied to the mining industry, describes its development path, provides a global review of literature on this topic, and outlines further trends of development for research on MWD application in drilling and blasting (D&B) operations at mining enterprises.
