Prospective assessment of psychosocial outcomes of contralateral prophylactic mastectomy.

Abstract: 6569 Background: Increasing numbers of women are choosing contralateral prophylactic mastectomy (CPM) despite the lack of knowledge about its effect on long-term psychosocial adjustment.
