Abstract:Linen fabrics were printed with reactive dyes, vat dyes and pigments. The prints were cured and after‐treated using conventional processes. Printed and unprinted fabrics were finished with low‐formaldehyde resin in a pad–dry–cure process. The mechanical properties (i.e. mass per unit area, flexural rigidity, tenacity at maximum load, wrinkle recovery angles and air permeability) with characteristics of printed and easy‐care finished fabrics were measured and the mutual influence of printing and finishing on th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
