“…Te stable spatial network structure improves the high-temperature rutting resistance of SBS/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt. Tis conclusion is consistent with Liu's research results on WER/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt [42]. His study concluded that the crosslinked three-dimensional network structure formed by the WER/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt could improve hightemperature stability.…”

“…Tis stage is the main stage of the mass-loss of emulsifed asphalt. Liu [42] measured the mass-loss of WER/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt through the DSC test and found that the main stage of mass-loss occurred at 300 °C-420 °C, and the decomposition peak of WER/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt appeared at about 50 °C. SBS/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt has a higher mass-loss temperature and a higher decomposition temperature than WER/SBS modifed emulsifed asphalt, indicating that SBS/SBR modifed emulsifed asphalt has excellent high-temperature stability at this stage.…”

“…Imidazole can be used as an epoxy catalyst and a curing agent to render a catalytic effect (Step 3 in Figure 1a). 34,35 Finally, it forms a semi-interpenetrating network structure with the epoxy resin. This method not only introduces high glass-transition-temperature components into the epoxy resin but also forms a polymer with a high cross-linking density to achieve a good modification effect.…”

“…In addition, another great rubber material for practical use in these is styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) as it has elasticity, frictional resistance, and mechanical strength similar to EPDM [18][19][20]. SBR is formed in the polymerization process, which allows for the production of a low reactive viscosity material with all the features of natural rubber, and was firstly developed in the 1930s by Interessen-Gemeinschaft Farbenindustrie AG in Germany [21][22][23]. Thanks to low costs, it has been used not only in everyday objects but also in protective coatings exposed to impact [24].…”
