The primary objective of teaching grammar is to equip students with an understanding of the structural aspects of language, enabling them to effectively comprehend, communicate, and articulate themselves through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This study aims to determine the impact on grammatical proficiency by scrutinizing the different parts of grammar, such as nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections, in the essays submitted by 39 third-year BSED English students at UMDC. Moreover, the tool employed is the Grammarly application, which incorporates Grammarly functionality. Based on the findings, it is evident that language learners had experienced significant challenges with a diverse set of grammatical structures, such as nouns, verbs, and adjectives, which are areas where students frequently make mistakes. Language educators are thus faced with employing inventive and pioneering methods to teach grammar to accomplish this objective effectively. Regardless of the activities assigned, the teacher needs to offer students the chance to generate grammatical structures using accurate examples of sentences that are syntactically and semantically acceptable and include suitable and relevant terminology.

The study examines the functional potential of impersonal pronouns in different languages. The aim of this study is to analyze personal/impersonal and subject/null subject phenomena in multi-structural languages. The novelty of the study is to establish the role of the pronoun in personal and impersonal aspects. To achieve the aim of the study, the following methods are used: lexico-grammatical analysis, structural analysis, contrast analysis, and interpretative analysis of artistic and lexicographic texts. The comparative research was based on Russian, English, German, and French lexicographic resources and examples from artistic discourse in Russian, English, German, and French with their translations. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the impersonal pronoun is a homonym for the personal pronoun of the 3rd person unit. In grammatical studies, the impersonal pronoun stands out as an independent category. A unit known in grammar as the 3rd person pronoun (in German es, in English it, in French il, ce) has a broader functional potential than other pronouns. Namely, it can act in the text not only as a substitute for another word but can also indicate syntactic structures of different complexity: from a word to a complex of propositions. The prospect is to study the discursive nature of impersonality in various types of discourse in different linguocultures.

“…«хватит!, довольно!».Анализ отрицательных местоимений демонстрирует, что в данном разряде слов как и в других разрядах местоимений (см. об этом[43,44]), заложены лингвистические противоречия, которые относятся, прежде всего, к их частеречному статусу и словоизменительной парадигматике. В рамках отрицательных местоимений в морфологическом отношении четко противопоставляются группы единиц с субстантивной парадигматикой и группа с парадигматической характеристикой прилагательных, что обусловливает избыточность поликатегориальных терминов при их описании.Литература…”

В статье рассматриваются вопросы определения категориального статуса отрицательных местоимений, а также их взаимосвязей с другими лексико-грамматическими разрядами в рамках данной части речи. В таблицах демонстрируются количественные различия отрицательных местоимений как в разных языках, так и в рамках одного языка у разных авторов. Интересные наблюдения представлены по грамматической характеристике данного класса слов. В заключении статьи описывается роль отрицательных местоимений в составе фразеологизмов и паремийных структур.
