Abstract: Lactic acid is an intermediate product of carbohydrate metabolism. Increment of plasma lactic acid level usually correlated withaerobic metabolism defect which caused by hypoperfusion or hypoxia, that can be happened in DM (Diabetes Mellitus) patients.
