A distribuição irregular das chuvas e as baixas temperaturas no inverno costumam limitar a produtividade das forrageiras tropicais. A irrigação pode ser utilizada para atenuar estas adversidades climáticas. Assim, esta pesquisa foi implantada com o objetivo de avaliar as características produtivas (produtividade, composição botânica e sazonalidade de produção) dos principais gêneros de forrageiras tropicais (Megathyrsus maximus cv. Mombaça, Urochloa Brizantha cv. MG-5 e Cynodon spp cv. Tifton 85), com e sem irrigação, no período de 20 fevereiro 2020 a 23 fevereiro 2021. O experimento foi realizado na Área Experimental de Irrigação da Universidade Federal da Grande Dourados. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi de blocos casualizados em esquema de parcelas subdivididas, com quatro repetições. As parcelas foram estabelecidas com e sem irrigação e as subparcelas formadas pelos capins. Os ciclos de coleta ocorreram a cada 28 dias, avaliando-se: produtividade, percentagem de material morto, relação folha/colmo e relação entressafra/safra. Todos os capins apresentaram produtividade de matéria seca maior com irrigação, obtendo os seguintes valores: 124,4 kg ha-1dia-1 para o capim MG-5, 135,1 kg ha-1dia-1 para o capim Mombaça e 98,8 kg ha-1dia-1 para o capim Tifton 85. A irrigação teve efeitos diferentes sobre a relação folha/colmo e porcentagem de material morto dos capins. A relação entressafra/safra foi maior com irrigação para todos os capins, destacando-se o Tifton 85 com valor igual a 0,83.

The objective was to verify the possibility of supplying the nutritional requirement of Tifton 85 grass with swine liquid manure in an intensive management system. The experiment was carried out in a randomized block design, with four treatments of swine liquid manure doses: 0, 70, 140 and 210 m 3 •ha −1 , divided into seven applications and a treatment of mineral fertilization of 200 kg of nitrogen ha −1 •year −1. Samples of the collected plant material were weighed to obtain fresh mass taken for drying and then ground for bromatological determination. The dry mass production data were obtained by dry matter accumulation during the cuts and averages were made for the variables; plant height, crude protein, NDF, ADF, neutral detergent insoluble protein (NDIP) and acid detergent insoluble protein (ADIP). The data were subjected to variance analysis, performing regression for swine liquid manure doses and averages test (Dunnett test) to compare the doses with the mineral fertilization. Higher plant heights, dry mass production, crude protein content, neutral detergent insoluble protein content and lower neutral detergent fiber content in Tifton 85 grass were observed with mineral fertilization. In the variables, acid detergent fiber and acid detergent insoluble protein there was no difference (P = 0.05) between the mineral fertilization and the swine liquid manure doses. There was a linear increase (P = 0.05) of swine liquid manure doses only in dry matter production. Swine liquid manure doses up to 210 m 3 •ha −1 •year −1 do not meet the entire nutritional requirement of Tifton 85 grass, recommending the evaluation of higher swine liquid manure doses or complementation with mineral fertilization.

Swine wastewater (SW) is considered as a source of nutrients for agriculture. The quantities and frequencies applied may vary according to the soil class, the nature and composition of the waste, the climatic conditions and the cultivated plant species. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effects of application of five Swine wastewater doses (0, 500, 1000, 2000 and 2500 m³ ha-1) in the production of components and grass nutrient extraction Tifton 85 and changes in soil chemical properties after the end of the last application of swine wastewater. To achieve these goals, we evaluated the quantities of extracted nutrients, density and height of the pre-grazing grass, forage accumulation rate and carrying capacity. The experimental design was a randomized block. The production of dry matter was 18159.80 kg ha-1 , and the average height of 85 Tifton was 34.83 cm. The higher carrying capacity, 10 AU ha-1 was obtained with the dosage of 2500 m³ ha-1. While, the dose of 2000 m³ ha-1 supplied the nutritional needs of Tifton 85 in nitrogen, potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc and boron. The quantities of extracted nutrients (kg ha-1) at grass Tifton 85 grazed were: N = 405.14; P = 57.77; K + = 387.69; Ca 2+ = 77.05; Mg 2+ = 49.68; S-SO4-2 = 31.48; B = 0.33; Cu 2+ = 0.20; Fe = 2.88; Mn 2+ = 4.61; Zn 2+ = 2.86. The application of increasing doses of SW promoted a linear increase in grass production components Tifton 85, as well, promoted changes in soil chemical properties and quantities of extracted nutrients.
